That's 1,000,000,000 plastic disposable diapers in the Netherlands each year. And a large part of that is unnecessary: a combination of timely potty training and using (part-time) washable diapers can prevent a large part of the impact and residual waste.

‍
The goal of this mission is to reduce disposable diaper use by 50% in 2030 in western Europe. In a country like the Netherlands, timely potty training can account for half of this objective. Stimulating (part-time) use of cloth diapers for the other part.
We’ve started three initiatives contributing to this goal:

We assist in communicating with parents and have developed an educationally responsible potty training program for parents and their children.
